In Laguna Beach, California, there are four "tides," which are cottages: Low Tide, High Tide, Red Tide and Ebb Tide. Our family lives in one of these cottages. It is a place by the ocean, with many visitors--more in the barefoot days of summer. Everyone exhales. sign language
I have never seen a sign that says "welcome to the city." Though at one time I thought hand-painted signs fell into the kitsch category--this is the beach, the rules are loose, nail up a sign. More to come....
So true! I have decided that your next book must be titled The Four Tides~ It could be about the four seasons of casual beach living from sand on floors to the crab bakes, bon fires & salty air~~ What do you think?? xx's
