In Laguna Beach, California, there are four "tides," which are cottages: Low Tide, High Tide, Red Tide and Ebb Tide. Our family lives in one of these cottages. It is a place by the ocean, with many visitors--more in the barefoot days of summer. Everyone exhales. today's forecast: showers
Sand, ocean, sand, ocean--thus is a Saturday ritual. The best way to clean off beach detritus is from an outdoor shower. Look up and you see the sky. Look down and there may be a snail.

P.S. I love all the Luc/giraffe posts as of late. He is absolutely adorable.
Water, sand, sunshine - a perfect way to enjoy summer. And then to shower off outdoors - love the pebble floor.
Much better on the pebbly path than in the house!
