In Laguna Beach, California, there are four "tides," which are cottages: Low Tide, High Tide, Red Tide and Ebb Tide. Our family lives in one of these cottages. It is a place by the ocean, with many visitors--more in the barefoot days of summer. Everyone exhales. the barn
We were struck by the fortune of staying in the barn (the MacCallum house has a variety of adjacent and nearby properties to stay in) as barns appeared to be a theme in this trip.
