In Laguna Beach, California, there are four "tides," which are cottages: Low Tide, High Tide, Red Tide and Ebb Tide. Our family lives in one of these cottages. It is a place by the ocean, with many visitors--more in the barefoot days of summer. Everyone exhales. Everyone is the type of person who can handle sand in the house and nights on the deck that never seem to end. Visit us, literally, at http://www.vrbo.com/23551.

yellow shed
This shed was aside the barn. What a luxury to have a shed. I could see myself saying, "Allan, I will be in the shed." Where I would write and pretend to be up to really important things, like taking naps.
Just came across your sweet blog. I live up in Northern California and love the Mendocino coast. Did you also know that that is where they filmed "Murder She Wrote"? My sister lives down in your area of Carona Del mar, it's so lovely there! I do wish she would ask me to house sit again when she and her husband are out of town! The little shed in your posting is precious. I have a tiny one myself that I use for creating, and it's also used as a guest house for when my son comes home on leave. All my goodies go out to the garage and the cottage is converted into a soldiers Haven! HA! Feel free to stop by my blog anytime...Marcia
I spy a great water tower too...looks like an idyllic place!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful relaxing foray into a calmer life. Glad you enjoyed yourselves.
ReplyDeleteA grand idea!
ReplyDeleteI dream of having a shed someday.
ReplyDeleteI would decorate it all for me and be very selfish about it. Oh, to dream.
hugs
